The actual lollypop is the foam pipe insulation. It&#039;s a dark grey color &amp; is hot-glued all around in a spiral shape. THEN... I sprayed the lollypop with some Kilz Primer, &amp; hand painted the whole thing red with a small white (painted) stripe. IT&#039;S ALL PAINTED WITH ACRYLIC PAINT!!! 

HAHA! I actually had to go back &amp; look at it to see!

I&#039;m so NOT a felting purest!! I will use any &amp; every technique that I have at my disposal to get the job done!! I&#039;m actually just restocking my needle felted sushi right now. They start off with wet felted wool over foam bases, then needle felting color, some hot glue felt fabric, and a little powdered chalk for shading. It&#039;s a hodge-podge, but they look cool when they are done!!!
